The Equipment Log is one of many free, personal logs available to members of i-Goals. This log was mainly created to track running shoe usage, but it can be used to track any equipment that is used for a length of time over a distance. So, you could also track the usage of bicycle tires, inline skate wheels, ice skate blades, or skis.

Tracking something like tennis racquet strings would not be appropriate, for this log, since they are only used for a period of time, but not used over a distance. The log would show a distance associated with the strings, but it would not make any sense.

Your equipment log page provides you with a single location to manage this log. When you navigate to the page, you will find:

A calendar is provided to show you, at a glance, all of your entries from your other logs, for the current month. Your equipment log entries are not marked on your logs calendars. Instead, your Equipment Usage Log, below, will show you the accumulated usage for each piece of your equipment in your equipment list. However, clicking on another log entry on your calendar will show you the details of that entry. This calendar is a smaller version, with slightly less information displayed, than the large calendar displayed on the main logs page. The sample calendar shown below displays one log entry from each of several different logs offered by i-Goals.

A list of your equipment being tracked for usage is displayed in a table below the calendar. This table allows you to view, edit, and delete the details of an individual entry in your list. In addition, you can search and sort the list of entries, as a whole. A sample equipment list is shown below.

An entry is made to your equipment list by filling-in the form found on your equipment log page. The form only requires the name of the piece of equipment you want to track, but you may optionally add a description, if you wish. A sample of this form is shown below.
