Cholesterol Converter
There are two main methods of describing concentrations of Cholesterol:
by weight, as mg/dL, and
by molecular count, as mmol/L.
The World Standard method is by molecular count (mmol/L), while the U.S. method is by weight (mg/dL).
Since Cholesterol health information is generally published utilizing one or the other system it is often useful to be able to convert your Cholesterol concentrations from one unit to the other.
