This calculator estimates the number of calories you should consume each day to maintain, increase, or decrease your weight based upon your gender, height, weight, age and activity level.

This calculator also provides a breakdown of calories and grams required from carbohydrates, fats, and proteins.
Instructions
Select either Metric or Imperial units and your gender.  Input your Height, Weight, and Age.

Choose your activity level using the table below:

Sedentary Little or no exercise
Lightly Active Light exercise/sports 1-3 days/week
Moderately Active Moderate exercise/sports 3-5 days/week
Very Active Hard exercise/sports 6-7 days/week
Extremely Active Very hard exercise/sports every day and work in a physical job

Choose whether you want to maintain your current weight, lose 1/2 or 1 pound a week, or gain 1/2 or 1 pound a week.
