This calculator estimates your Blood Alcohol Level based upon your body weight, quanity of alcohol consumed, the alcohol content in percent, and the elapsed time since you began drinking.

WARNING: The calculator is for estimation purposes only, and should NEVER be used as a basis for whether or not you are below the legal blood alcohol limit to drive.   You should never drive after consuming any amount alcohol.
Instructions
Input your weight and select the units in kg or lbs.  Input the quantity of alcohol you've consumed and select the units in ml or ounces.  Input the alcohol content in percent, and the elapsed time, since you started drinking, in hours.

NOTE: Typical quantities of alcohol are 1 pint* of beer (16 ounces or 500 ml), 1 bottle* of beer (12 ounces or 341 ml), 1 glass** of wine (5 ounces or 148 ml), 1 bar shot (1.5 ounces or 44 ml).  Typical alcohol content for various drinks are beer (5%), wine (12%), liquor (40%), but these vary widely.  In the U.S. and Canada all alcohol producers are required by law to print the volume and alcohol content on the bottle.

* U.S. and Canadian quantities for a "pint" and a "bottle" are different.
** Many wine glasses hold much more than 5 ounces.
